The 2016 Presidential election of Donald Trump created a dramatic and profound shift in our democracy. The allegations of Russian interference into the elections, the rumors of Russian collusion by the President and his senior staff, along with the obstruction committed by the White House administration during the investigations shocked the world while causing limitless ramifications which will continue to haunt the United States of America for years to come.
All of this followed a dismayed nation when it was announced that although Hillary Clinton won the popular vote - still Donald Trump prevailed becoming the 45th President of the United States of America.
CNN: "More Americans voted for Hillary Clinton than any other losing presidential candidate in US history.
The Democrat outpaced President-elect Donald Trump by almost 2.9 million votes, with 65,844,954 (48.2%) to his 62,979,879 (46.1%), according to revised and certified final election results from all 50 states and the District of Columbia."
The movement - with an impressive female backing- calls on all Americans to take back the country in 2020 and end the current administrations corruption and compromise of our nations values!
The phrase "Country Over Party" continues to sweep the nation.

We are meeting on December 17, 2019 at the corner of NW 87th Ave and NW 36th St and will rally there from 11:30-2:30.
Media has been invited and is expected to attend! Let's put on a good show!
Reminders:
We are protesting peacefully with conviction, but not rage. This is a solemn moment for our democracy and our Constitution, so let our behavior reflect that. We will stay on the public sidewalk and off the street and off the grass near the Trump sign.
There will be several event marshals identified with a yellow reflective vest. It is their job to keep the demonstration lawful (off the roadway and off of private property) and peaceful. If there is a disruption, or if you are feeling unsafe or unwell, please bring it to their attention and they will deal with it.
Bring:
-Signs + banners! (no thick wood or metal poles) Suggested messages: No One Is Above The Law, Defend Democracy, Impeach & Remove, Convict & Jail, Constitution Over Corruption.
-Noisemakers! Drums, bells, whistles (no airhorns!) or other musical instruments to keep our energy up.
-Your most patriotic attire! We are defending democracy and the rule of law! The right wing does not get to decide what patriotism means.
-Unwrapped toys or canned goods for immigrant detainees. We are collecting goods for the Friends of Miami-Dade Detainees.

Now that the House of Representatives has vote, it is up to the Senate to uphold their oath to the Constitution and fairly hear the evidence against Donald Trump.
We will be at Senator Rubio's office regularly starting this Thursday, December 19!

Events will be visible, family-friendly, public gatherings to demonstrate to our lawmakers that their constituents are behind them to defend the Constitution—and that Trump has left them no alternative to uphold their oath of office but to support impeachment and removal.
All actions are intended to be nonviolent and peaceful. We expect all participants to act lawfully at all times and to seek to de-escalate any potential confrontation with those who disagree with our values.
